Staff Facilities Engineer
Job Description:
The position shall have responsibility for providing technical oversight for the key Operators’ activities that include:
- Integrity Management
- Reliability Systems
- CAPEX Assessment of Projects (Minor and Major)
- Shutdown and Maintenance Planning – Production and Cost
- Facility Optimization
- Cost Management
Key Accountabilities:
- Assessment of facilities based on operational risks and mitigation management plans, inclusive of Management of Change
- Technical review and over sight of Operator’s integrity management programs with focus on critical equipment management
- Technical review and endorsement of operations capital programs through AFE reviews and approvals for both minor and major activities, inclusive of high risk Management of Change activities
- Input into annual budget process; review and assess facilities downtime assumptions and validate CAPEX budgets
- Oversee and guide the design contractor and associated vendors to produce piping, static equipment and machinery deliverables that are consistent with the level of technical definition and appropriate for the stage of the project, providing a design that is safe, reliable and in compliance with the project applicable technical and safety standards and that are balanced (e.g. cost vs. operational flexibility, etc
- Review and provide input and guidance on engineering related activities and studies; standard selection, clarification, and utilization; and analysis, inspection and testing programs, engineering deliverables, plans, etc. for static equipment, piping and machinery.
- Data Gathering and Analysis (base lining to field conditions if necessary), including input in the project scope and design
- Responsible for monitoring own and contractors/vendor work against project deliverables schedules and resolve issues that could impact overall project execution
REPORTING:
- Position will be Houston based 8 hr work days – 5 days/week
- Position will report directly to the Engineering and Construction Manager
- Some offshore travel related to projects will be required
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years facility engineering experience in upstream oil and gas sector
- Degree Engineer (required)
- Acted as a Facility Engineering either for an operator or engineering services contractor (required)
- Strong knowledge of engineering studies or conceptual studies
- Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills/ability to work within a multi-disciplined team
- Experience with FEED and detailed design on large capital project
- Familiar with offshore and onshore production operations and operational issues
- Good working knowledge of relevant industry standards
- Familiar with oil & gas production engineering deliverables and calculations (piping classes, basic field instrumentation, PFD, P&ID, C&E, Safe Charts, processing equipment (separators, pumps, compressors, control valves, water and oil treatment), plot plans, piping isometrics, etc.
Offshore Operations Production Supervisor
Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the supervision of operators offshore GOM.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate should have good hands-on field experience as well as experience working closely with the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities Areas:
- To ensure that the HSE and safety supervisory system requirements are met.
- The incumbent has to ensure that the Company HSE policies and Procedures within their area of authority are adhered to. In particular, the Permit to Work system as an Area Authority, compliance and maintenance of the Operating Procedures and practices are key tasks for the Production Supervisor.
- To implement and maintain the operating procedures, ensuring that they are reviewed and up-dated from time to time.
- Full compliance with all site Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices
- Full understanding of the Code of Federal Regulations 30 CFR Part 250
- To supervise the production operations at the wellhead locations and the process facilities and to ensure that contract production nominations are met. To supervise the site life support utility, fire fighting and safety systems.
- To ensure that the permit to work system is appropriately implemented
- To supervise the optimum efficiency of the production with minimum consumption of key chemicals and commodities.
- To liaise with petroleum engineering department to carry out necessary well testing and data acquisition program.
- To prepare the daily, weekly and monthly reports

Offshore Turbine Mechanic
Job Summary:
To monitor the operation of the company operated turbine driven equipment. Mechanic will monitor and record system parameters to ensure proper operation of the equipment and associated auxiliary support systems. Assist supervisor in developing maintenance plans and implementation of isolations on the equipment. Perform startup, shutdowns, routine and emergency operation of the equipment. Mechanic will operate systems, maintaining parameters in accordance with approved procedures and manufacturer requirement. Mechanic will cooperate in activities of other personnel in operation, trouble shooting, maintenance and repair of the equipment. The work schedule is a 12 hour rotating shift position on a 14/14 schedule.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Full compliance with all site Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices
- Start up, shutdown and constant monitoring of operation
- Coordinate with Operators to respond to abnormal signals or alarm indications
- Coordinate with maintenance supervisor on preventive and reactive maintenance activities
- Documentation of operations, maintenance, alarm conditions and response though weekly/monthly progress reporting
- Develop and write procedures as needed for the turbines
Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years in offshore operations
- A minimum of 5 years in rotating equipment operations experience / Turbine Generator experience
- Computer skills in Microsoft Suite
Offshore Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description:
The Offshore Maintenance Supervisor will primarily provide a range of maintenance operations support requirements for field facilities. It is expected that the role will oversee the Integrity Management programs related to all Mechanical and Rotating equipment, including managing the Preventative Maintenance programs. In addition the Offshore Maintenance Supervisor can also be required to be a focal point for a range of production related information in the areas of work planning and training. The Offshore Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with the Offshore Operations Production Supervisors & the primary O&M support contractor Maintenance Engineers. The role will also work closely with the Facility Engineering group (Houston) assisting with planning and execution of topsides projects necessary for operability & maintainability, operational readiness or production improvement. The Offshore Maintenance Supervisor will also play a key role in interfacing with other departments for logistics support, safety issues, contracts and procurement.
The individual may be required to fulfill the duties of the Offshore Operations Production Supervisor during their absence as well as offshore supervisory roles.
The work schedule is a 12 hour rotating shift position on a 7/7/ schedule stationed offshore.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulations, process safety, integrity management and specific operation center’s integrity maintenance schedule, programs and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance for optimum mechanical performance and operating efficiency.
- Ensure mechanical optimization, integrity and maintenance of flow process mechanical equipment and components (i.e. engines, compressors, pumps) for optimum operating efficiency.
- Provide assurance, coordination and oversight of contract personnel responsible of maintaining and servicing mechanical equipment and components.
- Utilize planning and scheduling, internal and external networks and engineering as tools and resources.
- Ensure the efficient use of consumables, such as chemicals etc.
- Perform routine and breakdown support of rotating equipment.
- Ensure documentation of equipment repair history through work order completion.
- Interface with the Offshore and Onshore Teams in the daily operations and routine interpretation of the operations needs to meet KPI targets.
- Demonstrate leadership, commitment and foster a culture where health, safety and the environment are not compromised.
- Work as part of a team consisting of personnel from offshore, engineering and operations to work together in order to maximize value of the company assets.
- Manage the planning and execution of special projects as necessary
Offshore Production Operators (Lead and “A”)
Job Description:
We are currently accepting applications for operators to work a 14 & 14 rotating shift in the GOM. Crew change is at the Intracoastal City, Louisiana. Advanced knowledge of offshore oil and gas production operations, BOEMRE regulations, and five years (or equivalent) experience are prerequisites for these positions. All positions require travel by boat and helicopter in the GOM. Current T-2 Production Safety Systems Training and API RP 2D Crane Certification plus QPM’s Operator training are required prior to reporting offshore.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance
- Full understanding of the Code of Federal Regulations 30CFR Part 250
- Versatile in all aspects of oil and gas production operations, with capability of initiating methods to improve production and maximize the efficiency of process equipment
- Troubleshoot well (s) and equipment for optimum production.
- Coordinate and provide direction to platform personnel involved in routine well maintenance and electrical personnel to ensure work is performed in compliance with industry regulations.
- Ensure routine maintenance is performed on all equipment,
- Collect, record, and maintain data to fulfill State, Federal and company requirements.
- Test and calibrate equipment per BOEMRE regulations.
- Maintain and inspect equipment per USCG regulations.
- Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies.
- Operate hydraulic crane.
- Willing to conduct general housekeeping and platform maintenance.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of pervious work experience in offshore production operations.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge
- Current T-2 Production Safety Systems Training and API RP 2D Crane Certification.
- Hydraulic crane operator certification.
